Assystem are a key multi-framework engineering partner helping to design, construct, and commission the UK's first large-scale nuclear power station in 30 years.
You will be joining our expanding team of over 7000 delivering innovative engineering across a spectrum of digital, energy transition and Nuclear technologies such as fusion and modularisation alongside key global large-scale critical Infrastructure projects.

As Assystem's Nuclear New Build business grows with long term contracts with Hinkley Point C (HPC) and the Small Modular Reactor (SMR) Project, we are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and outcome focussed project administrator to work across projects and in general support of the Assystem New Build business.
The role will be based in Bristol with the requirement for occasional travel to client and / or other Assystem sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support to the selection, onboarding, and induction of new team members including:
  • Organising and delivering inductions
  • Collation, storage, and processing of personal information (e.g. qualification records and / or security clearance related documentation)
  • Support to the collation of information for and the production of project and business reports
  • Organisation of and minute taking at meetings when required
  • Assisting with recruitment admin, including formatting documents
  • Act as the main point of contact for visitor passes and for visitors attending the building
  • Support to the coordination of travel logistics
  • Creating and updating spreadsheets, word documents, and slide-decks
  • Data entry, filing and archiving
  • Photocopying, printing and scanning

Key Experience & Skills:

  • Educated to a minimum standard of 5 GCSEs grades A - C or equivalent including English and Maths
  • Ability to obtain minimum BPSS security clearance
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent literacy and attention to detail
  • An ability to work on own initiative, autonomously
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Knowledge of French would be an advantage but is not essential
