AWE's Nuclear Threat Reduction (NTR) Division is currently recruiting for an Operations Exercise Deputy Planning Specialist to assist with specific exercise planning, capability management and assurance activities, whilst contributing towards the development the emergency response capability to ensure it is fit for purpose now and in the future.
Package - £41,950 - c£52,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

The Exercise Deputy Planner will provide support and deputise when necessary for the Lead Planner in the execution of their duties. You will assist with all aspects required for the development and delivery of training exercises and participate in after action reviews (AAR's). The ideal candidate will have exercise and/or project planning experience and a proactive attitude.
We would love to hear from an HND/HNC qualified individual with a background of leading a team and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate must have a proven competence and/or experience in planning with excellent presentation skills.
The role requires frequent travel with nights away in the UK and occasional opportunities for overseas travel.
Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
