As our reputation for proficient delivery of complex projects grows even stronger, we have a need for a Project Engineer / Project MAnager to join the team in Warrington.
Project Engineer / Manager
The Project:
The project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants.
The Role:
As our Project Engineer you will be responsible for implementing Engineering Procedures and maintaining the required standards of technical quality in the project work.
You will support the PM with the management, direction and coordination of the Project Engineering work and interrelation with Project discipline teams.
Specific responsibilities:
Ability in the execution of NEC3 contracts in a Target Cost environment using earned value management, detailed reporting and CEMAR
Ability in resource management within a JV setting
A record of successful delivery, influencing professional engineers and others
Ability and record in developing and maintaining business relationships
Ability to produce quality project documents
Strong client facing skills for both commercial and Intelligent Customer interactions
Team player
Self-motivated, proactive, able to work to tight timescales
Positive and collaborative mindset

Your background:

Confidence and demonstrable capability to be able to work without supervision to meet end outcomes.
An appreciation of working with and managing protectively marked information.
Demonstrable qualifications and or in-depth experience and capability across Project Management, Engineering and Construction fields suitable to the seniority and responsibility of the position and project.

Preferred experience:
Demonstrable experience of project delivery ideally within the nuclear industry but certainly within a related transferrable industry such as the oil and gas processing/refining sector or water treatment arena for examples.
Experience and familiarity with designing for delivery/implementation and associated project construction and execution.
An overarching appreciation of multi-design interactions and interfaces.

This role may suit someone who has a project management background or someone with project controls experience looking to widen their knowledge base.
Security clearance:
Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
