Assystem are a key multi-framework engineering partner helping to design, construct, and commission the UK's first large-scale nuclear power station in 30 years.
You will be joining our expanding team of over 7000 delivering innovative engineering across a spectrum of digital, energy transition and Nuclear technologies such as fusion and modularisation alongside key global large-scale critical Infrastructure projects.

We are recruiting for several Quality Management Leads to join our teams on Hinkley Point C. The roles will be based 5 days a week on site, so travel or willingness to relocate will be essential.

The successful candidates will ensure quality management protocols are correctly applied, ensure supply chain adherence to the contracted quality assurance and be the single point of contact for all quality related enquiries within the supply chain.

  • Implement the quality execution plan and undertake reviews
  • Review, accept and monitor CQAPs provided by the supply chain;
  • Supporting Quality Auditors in the prompt resolution of audit findings within the supply chain;
  • Ensure quality management processes are correctly applied;
  • Ensure supplier quality control requirements are adequately specified within contract documentation;
  • Responsible for the review and delivery of the end of manufacturing records, leading to the
  • quality release of equipment to the HPC construction site;
  • Produce quality documentation (e.g. learning reports, lessons learnt reviews) as required;
  • Provide regular reporting to the Quality Management Manager

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience of Quality Assurance and Quality Control in major projects (ideally in a nuclear environment, although this is not essential)
  • Confident and articulate communicator
  • Able to support and implement practical solutions, whilst remaining open to the ideas of others
  • Experience of a Quality in a similarly regulated industry

Education & Qualifications:

  • A HNC/HND qualification or degree in a relevant science or engineering subject, or equivalent
  • qualification.
  • Experience in ensuring compliance with international standards such as GSR Part 2 and ISO9001
  • MCQI or PCQI would be an advantage
