You will be joining our expanding team of over 7000 delivering innovative engineering across a spectrum of digital, energy transition and Nuclear technologies such as fusion and modularisation alongside key global large-scale critical Infrastructure projects.

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our teams in a newly created role as Senior Engineer on our Systems/Digitalisation teams. This is a great opportunity to act as primary contact between the Engineering and application scope delivery teams in our Nuclear New Build division.

Key Accountabilities:

  • This role is client focussed and must uphold the prime qualities of the company, Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost at all times.
  • Ensure that the clients business needs and interests are championed, at all times, by providing appropriate governance and assurance over the application scope factories delivery tasks.
  • Problem solving in an agile and fast paced environment, requiring a strong ability for critical thinking in order to resolve problems in a complex environment.
  • Performing as a technical expert in your area for engineering process (Initially Non-Conformance reporting and resolution) with the future aspiration to secure a role a product owner for the client.
  • V&V closeout to ensure that the project delivery requirements on the client side and achieved.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Proven engineering experience, with a base competency in a traditional engineering discipline (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical engineering etc)
  • Degree level education (Or equivalent with experience)
  • A good knowledge in Quality Assurance competency and engineering Change and Configuration methodologies within the Nuclear or similar high integrity engineering industry are necessary.
  • Understanding of system engineering principles, System modelling, Requirements capture and acceptance, functional need development.
  • Understanding and proven delivery of Project Lifecycle Management, experience of management of data and the associated models across disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Configuration and management of alignment between business process, application and people behaviours
  • Methods and process management, development, optimisation, governance, and assurance
  • Prior experience in engineering digitalisation activities including digital project delivery and Verification and Validation tasks.
  • Application development, governance that functionality, requirements, and observations are met by the application. (Dassault Systems 3DX is a key benefit)
  • User Acceptance testing management, setting and defining test scripts against business functional and non-functional requirements. Management of UAT and close out of verification activities.
