Our engineers work closely with the armed forces and emergency services every day to deliver critical equipment support on naval, air and land programmes.
We also design, develop and manufacture a range of specialist defence and civil equipment, from submarine components to liquid gas, as well as providing integrated, technology-enabled solutions to our customers.
Our Nuclear operations
We provide a comprehensive range of critical nuclear solutions across the markets of Clean Energy, Defence and Civil Decommissioning, both in the UK and internationally.
Our heritage is based on the amalgamation of some of the most respected and trusted companies in the UK nuclear market and includes over 40 years’ experience as a nuclear site licence holder, supporting infrastructure and plant across UK nuclear build, operation and decommissioning.
In defence, we sustain the entirety of the UK’s submarine fleet, and support critical defence infrastructure upgrades. We both own and manage two of the three UK Naval Bases – HMNB Clyde and HMNB Devonport.
Having supported the Continuous At Sea Deterrent for over 50 years with the largest nuclear-capable workforce of any other UK contractor, we have an exceptional track record in the design, build, management and decommissioning of complex nuclear assets across UK defence.
